The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Faculty of Computer and Electrical Engineering officially welcomed new students admitted for the 2022/2023 academic year to begin their respective degree programmes.

New students are obliged to go through a general orientation exercise about the mode of operation and other associated activities on campus as part of the faculty's yearly tradition. Additionally, the orientation provides newly admitted students with the necessary platform to give them first-hand knowledge, guidance, and general rules about the University.

This year's orientation was held in three locations: Kumaplay Auditorium, A001, and the 303 Bamfo-Kwakye Building, and it drew a large number of fresh students who had recently been admitted to the University to pursue degree programs.

The entire orientation was scheduled to last four days. The first day of orientation was the college orientation, which included all of the college's faculties, namely: Faculty of Civil and Geo-Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Faculty of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering.

As the event was unfolding per the progamme outline, Mrs. Ida Saeed, the college registrar was invited to make a key submission on the order of chains being, the mission, vision and the values of the noble university.

Dr. Mizpah Ama Dziedzorn Rockson, the exams officer provided a brief explanation of how to balance academics and extracurricular interests.

Lt. Col. Richard Cobba-Eshun (RTD) commented on the necessity for students to be aware of campus security measures.

The second day orientation continued at the various faculties. Prof. Abudl-Rahman Ahmed, the Dean of the Faculty Electrical and Computer Engineering at the freshers orientation for Telecommunication Department.
