LAUNCH OF THE KNUST ECOSYSTEM LAB arm (E3)NGAGE
On February 6th, 2022, the Arm’s first technology ecosystem lab was launched at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The lab will focus on educating, training, developing & offering a platform for the demonstration of Arm’s capabilities within local tech innovation hubs, education institutions, developer communities, governmental, and non-governmental organizations.
The launching was done by Ozoigbo Stephen, Rod Crawford, Marvin Roternund, and Lorraine Tiffany Shumate from Arm on the one hand, and Professor Kwabena Beritwum Nyarko (Provost of the college of engineering), Professor Abdul-Rahman Ahmed (Dean of Electrical and Computer engineering) of KNUST on the other hand.
Earlier, the team together with the Dean of the International Programs Office (IPO) Professor Daniel Duah paid a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Miss Rita Akosua Dickson; at which event both parties emphasized their commitment to strengthen the partnership between Arm and KNUST towards skills development and employability.
As part of the programme, a panel discussion led by the Head of Strategic Alliances Technical Marketing, Crawford Rod had the opportunity to pick among various sessions to discuss topics and develop guidelines.
The official opening of the arm (E3) NGAGE Lab was done by Ozoigbo Stephen, Crawford Rod, alongside with Professor Kwabena Beritwum Nyarko the Provost of the college, Professor Abdul-Rahman Ahmed, Faculty Dean of Electrical and Computer engineering and the project team.
